August 20, 2007 Thirty-Fourth Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by Bang, second by Creger, carried to approve the August 13, 2007 board minutes.

Motion by Bang, second by Creger, carried to approve Resolution #08/20/07 authorizing Jim Hyde, Worth County Engineer, to execute the certification of completion of work and final acceptance thereof in accordance with plans and specifications in connection with all Farm-to-Market and federal or state aid construction projects in Worth County.

Motion by Creger, second by Bang, carried to approve final plans and letting for projects BHS-CO98(37)--63-98 and BHS-CO98(38)--63-98.

Motion by Creger, second by Bang, carried to approve the employment contract and agreement between Worth County, Iowa and Mitchell County, Iowa, and James E. Hyde, Engineer.

Motion by Creger, second by Bang, carried to approve the abatement of taxes only in the amount of $42.00 on N Grant St. Lot 7, Manly, IA in the name of Adair Holdings, LLC; $188.00 on Orig. Lot 2 Blk. 1, Joice, IA in the name of City of Joice; $84.00 on N Grant St. Add. Lot 18 Exc. for 2 Pars, Manly, IA in the name of City of Manly; $166.00 on mobile home on land owned by others SE SW 12-98-19 in the name of Joshua Duvall; $414.00 on cable on land owned by others pars. 28 & 29-99-22, Joice, IA in the name of Westcom; $408.00 on underground cable lines & building on land owned by others secs. 34 & 35-98-22, Fertile, IA in the name of Westcom; $194.00 on cable on land owned by others, Hanlontown, IA in the name of Westcom.
