March 31, 2008 Fourteenth Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by Bang, second by May, carried to approve the March 24, 2008 board minutes.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to approve the summer hours for secondary road as four ten hour workdays per week from May 5, 2008 thru August 29, 2008.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to approve the claim to Iowa State University in the amount of $150.00 for education submitted by the auditor’s department.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to direct Worth County’s bonding attorney to work with Xenia Rural Water’s attorney to draft a memorandum of agreement to finance infrastructure costs at Diamond Jo Casino development area with a two million dollar ceiling.

The board was advised by Worth County Assessor Dan Reeder that Xenia Rural Water is tax exempt under Iowa Code 357A.15.

The meeting adjourned until 9:00 A.M., April 7, 2008.
