June 7, 2010 Twenty-Third Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with Dave Haugen & Dennis May present. Jeff Creger was absent.

Motion by May, second by Haugen, carried to approve the June 1, 2010 board minutes.

Motion by May, second by Haugen, carried to approve the claim to Allied Manatts Group-serv/eng-$668,772.95.

Motion by May, second by Haugen, carried to approve the recommendation from the Worth County Planning & Zoning Board of Adjustment to approve a petition submitted by Lightowler Johnson, LLC for a special exception to the county zoning ordinance to build a three story hotel on Lot 5 of the Julseth subdivision.

Motion by May, second by Haugen, carried to approve the application for Iowa retail cigarette/tobacco permit submitted by Diamond Jo Casino Worth and The Jo Stop, Northwood.

Motion by May, second by Haugen, carried to approve the request for a fireworks permit for the weekend of July 10^th & 11^th submitted by Bill & Jina Schulte, 1164 Highway 9, Manly.

The meeting adjourned until 9:00 A.M., June 14, 2010.
